The Eastern Ligurian Riviera |
|
|
The Eastern Ligurian Riviera is
about 50 Km of coast from Genoa to
La Spezia. Leaving the motorway in
Genoa (Nervi), you arrive quickly in
the amazing Golfo Paradiso. Small
sea village with coloured houses
placed in narrow valleys with te sea
at the end; directly on the sea with
her impressive palaces there is
Camogli.
The hill of
Portofino
(with his
wonderfol harbour attainable only on
foot or by boat from S. Fruttuoso)
mark a changing in the landscape and
even in the Gulf: exceeding it, you
will find a smooth landscape with
the Gulf of Tigullio, amazing perl
of Riviera, with his important town
like Rapallo and Santa Margherita
Ligure.
After that, we find Deiva Marina e
the famous
Cinque Terre:
Riomaggiore,
Manarola,
Corniglia,
Vernazza,
Monterosso.
Between the rosate shadows of its
villages, in softly the movement of
its hills, beyond the deepest blue
of its sea, this earth opens
discreet the landscapes loved by
Shelley, Petrarch and Montale: the
Gulf of the Poets with its
Portovenere,
Lerici and Tellaro. |
